Elementary Christian Formation Classes (K-5) take place on Sunday mornings between the Masses (9:30am-10:30am) September-May and follows the VBPS calendar. We use the Pflaum Gospel Weekly curriculum that is lectionary-based and follows the liturgical year as well as correlates to the Catechism of the Catholic Church.

Children’s Liturgy of the Word (CLOW) is open to children ages 4-2 nd grade and is offered at both Sunday Masses (8:15am and 11:00am).  CLOW follows the CF calendar and is an opportunity for the youngest members of our parish family to celebrate God’s Word through age appropriate activities and song.  No registration is required; children are dismissed at the beginning of Mass by Fr. and returned to worship space during Preparation of the Gifts. 

EDGE: Middle School (6-8) Christian Formation is offered on Sunday mornings from 9:30am-10:30am September-May and follows the VBPS calendar.  We use Edge, which is a Catholic youth ministry program designed specifically for middle school students.  It is designed to meet the needs of these young teens: educationally, spiritually, and emotionally through a non-classroom model.  All middle school youth are welcome and encouraged to attend!
