What: The Ignatian Family Teach-in for Justice is a three day in-person conference to learn, pray and advocate for justice and to defend the inherent dignity of all God's creation-both planet and people.
When: Saturday October 22, 2022 through Monday October 24, 2022. Saturday and Sunday are spent listening to keynote speakers, attend interactive breakout sessions and visiting with over fifty exhibitors. Monday is Advocate Day. Participants will meet with their local representative at the capitol, to speak of concerns on the environment and immigration. No expereince is need and talking points will be provided.
Where: The IFTJ is held at the Washington Hilton in Washington DC. Participants also stay at the Washnington Hilton.
Who: Participants must be High School Students. Participation is open to the first ten people. We will register as a group. Do not register for conference on your own.
Cost: TBD. I'm still seeking possible funding assistance.
Transportation: We will travel as a group to and from Washington DC via Amtrak train.
